Septentrio’s AsteRx SB GNSS receiver delivers quad-constellation RTK in a low-power, IP68 compliant housing. Built around the popular AsteRx-m2 GNSS receiver engine, the receiver features WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet and serial connectivity. The company’s GNSS+ suite of positioning algorithms helps achieve good positioning even in difficult environments, while its Lock+ technology maintains tracking during heavy vibration, Apme+ combats multipath and Iono+ technology ensures position accuracy during periods of elevated ionospheric activity. The AsteRx SB also features AIM+ interference mitigation and monitoring system which can suppress a variety of interferers, from simple continuous narrowband signals to more complex wideband and pulsed jammers. Key benefits for users include the device’s L-band PPP, RTK, and scalable accuracy, its high-update rate and low-latency positioning. Whether operating alone or as a core component of a sensor-fusion system, the GNSS receiver is straightforward to setup and integrate into new and existing applications. Using WiFi or micro USB, the AsteRx SB can be configured and monitored using any device with a web browser.
