RS Components (RS) has announced that it is working closely with Siemens to help customers with phase out the manufacturer’s Sirius 3SB3 22 mm pushbutton range and migrating to Siemens’ Sirius ACT range of devices. In October 2017, Siemens announced the beginning of a gradual phase-out period lasting two years (of its 22 mm Sirius 3SB3 command and signalling devices), providing customers with enough time to migrate to the newer range of ACT pushbutton devices. From October 2019, Siemens will cease delivery of the SIRIUS 3SB3. To help customers such as machine and panel builders in the migration to the ACT range, RS has prepared a cross-reference list from SB3 to CT devices. This list, which is available on the RS website, includes the RS stock numbers and Siemens part codes, as well as further information to ensure a smooth changeover path for customers. In addition, RS has also created a dedicated page on its DesignSpark website to provide customers with access to all the important information and available tools in one place.
