The 110th OGC Technical and Planning Committee Meeting will have the themes of “Marine” and “The Built Environment” and marks the first time that the committees have met in Singapore. The meeting will be sponsored by the Singapore Land Authority and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and held at the National University of Singapore from 25 February to 1 March 2019.

The purpose of OGC Technical and Planning Committee Meetings is to network, share knowledge, and advance the development of open geospatial standards. To enjoy access to all the standards meetings on offer during the week you will need to be an OGC member. However, the Opening & Closing plenaries, Future Directions Session, Regional Forums, Summits, Domain Working Groups, and networking opportunities are open to participation for anyone that is interested in learning about and furthering the development of open geospatial standards (registration fees will apply to non-members).

There will be a full-day Marine Summit on 27 February, followed by a half day Building Information Management (BIM) Summit the next day. There will also be a coinciding meeting of the local OGC Forum, in this case OGC’s Asia Forum. During the week of meetings there will also be the kickoff for the follow up to the successful Environmental Linked Features Interoperability Experiment (ELFIE), as well as the recently introduced Future Directions Session, where the OGC’s Director of Knowledge Management will discuss emerging technologies relevant to the consortium’s work.
