Hand-held multifunctional motor tester launched

The new Megger Baker MTR105 hand-held motor tester is designed and built for performing multifunctional tests on motors, making it an all in one device at an affordable price. This dedicated static motor tester includes the company’s tried and trusted suite of insulation resistance tests (IR), plus all the great traditional features and reliability of Megger’s testers. The device, which incorporates DLRO four-wire Kelvin low-resistance test, inductance and capacitance tests with the company’s proven IR test abilities, provides the user with a versatile motor tester, all packaged in a robust hand-held instrument. The instrument also incorporates temperature measurement and compensation (for IR tests), motor direction of rotation plus supply phase rotation tests. These new test abilities make the device a real-world, versatile, hand-held motor test instrument. The MTR105 is supplied in an over-moulded case, providing increased protection and robustness, with an IP54 weatherproof rating.
