denver-acNK Technologies has introduced  low cost current-operated switches designated AS1, which consist of a compact case and a solid state relay. Simply pass the primary conductor through the aperture, the self-powered unit utilises a solid state relay to provide the opening or closing of the solid state relay once the threshold of 0,5 A is exceeded. Typical applications will include quick reporting of motor load status, identify open circuit heaters, independent verification that a load is energised, confirmation operation of critical lighting equipment. In addition to the solid state relay device, the company also offers the Amp Flasher which is also self-powered, and will give a flashing LED indication of an energised load.
