Acquisition expands company’s activities

Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) has increased its 70% stake in Cedaspe, a company based in Giuliano Milanese (near Milano) in Italy, to 100% with effect from January this year. Moreover, the company has also acquired the company ETI Elettrindustria (ETI), whicjh is based in Cormano (also near Milano) in Italy, retroactively with effect from 1 January 2019. With these acquisitions, MR has increased its product portfolio in regards to components and accessories for distribution and power transformers. At the same time, the integration into MR’s network has improved the worldwide availability of the CEDASPE and ETI products and services. Both companies will be part of the MR business unit Components, which comprises all products, protective devices and components used at distribution transformers. Gianfranco Giorgi will continue to manage and develop Cedaspe. Furthermore, he has been appointed as the managing director of ETI. Gianmarco Ghioldi, the former managing director of ETI, will continue in the organisation until his retirement.
