AMEU affiliates play golf on a windy day

The AMEU Affiliates held a golf day at the Serengeti Golf Course in Kempton Park on 16 April 2015.

Fourballs were sponsored by the following companies: ABB, Actom, ADC Energy, ARB Electrical Wholesalers, Beka Schreuder, Dynatech, Hellerman Tyton, Landis & Gyr, LH Marthinusen, Lucy Electric, Powertech Transformers, Proconics, PSW Consulting Engineers, Quanta Services, Schneider Electric, WPI Power Solutions and Zest.

The winning fourball from ARB Electrical Wholesalers consisted of Kyle Smith, Never Jim, Thinus van der Merwe and Charl du Preez.

The Powertech Transformers team consisting of Rynard Potgieter, Tom Berrington, Deon Potgieter and Andre Brooks was in second place.

In third place was the fourball from Actom of Tembela Caza, Slu Gesha, Alan Buchholz and Brett Hertz.

The golfer with the longest drive on the 18th hole was Dave Berrrington.

 

The AMEU Affliates committee thanks all the companies that sponsored fourballs and played in the golf day. Although the golf course is in fantastic condition it was a tough day with very windy weather which made play more difficult. The committee extends its hearty congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated in the golf day.
