Call for papers for energy efficiency conference

The Southern African Association for Energy Efficiency (SAEE) cordially invites submissions of abstracts for consideration to be presented at the 2015 SAEE Conference (2015SAEEC) which is scheduled to take place at Emperors Palace on 11 and 12 November 2015.  The 2015SAEEC features a convention agenda with seminars and an exhibition on a variety of current topics and a comprehensive overview of “Energy Efficiency @ Work”.

Abstracts covering the following subjects are welcome for submission

  • Mining and industrial EE
  • Renewable and alternative energy
  • Energy projects and case studies
  • Co-generation
  • Energy technology innovation
  • Females in energy efficiency
  • Financing and tax incentives
  • Energy management and standards
  • Energy efficiency in buildings
  • Measurement and verification

Submission schedule

15 June 2015: Closing date of abstract submissions

15 July 2015: Notice of abstract acceptance

17 Aug 2015: First-draft papers submission

31 Aug 2015: Feedback and recommendations on submitted papers

15 Sep 2015: Final paper submission

22 Sep 2015: Letter of acceptance as speaker, together with a 2015SAEEC delegate registration form will be forwarded to the author.

Guidelines for abstracts
Title: The title of the abstract must be in Arial, 12-point, bold and centred space.
Author:  The author name below title in Arial 12 point, italics and centred space.
Body text: The body of the abstract must be in Arial, 12-point font, with a space between paragraphs.

Terms and conditions
A participation fee for speakers will be charged if the speaker plans to attend both days of the convention. Papers of speakers, who will present their papers at the 2015SAEEC, will be published in the convention proceedings. Please note that no products may be promoted in your papers or presentations.
