Speaking at an industry networking event at the Gordon Institute of Business Studies in Johannesburg recently, the Republic of Ireland’s ambassador to South Africa, Liam MacGabhann, said that the success of Sentinel Fuel Products in South Africa was testimony to the company’s ability to innovate and its expertise in the field of fuel monitoring and management. Kurt Reinhardt, Sentinel’s managing director, who was in the country for business meetings with Diesel Electric Services, the company’s local distributor, gave an overview at the event of the benefits the company’s Oilguard 9000 fuel monitoring system offers. MacGabhann said that the Irish government, under the auspices of Enterprise Ireland, actively seeks out small and mid-sized companies which exhibit such characteristics, and assists these companies to grow by providing them with financial and other assistance. One such company, MacGabhann said, is Sentinel Fuel Products. The company reported that it has had a lot of success with various clients in numerous sectors in South Africa and are busy with new Oilguard 9000 projects.
