Biennially one of the most exciting weeks in the regional Automation and Control event calendar, the Africa Automation Fair and Awards Ceremony hosted by the IIG (Industrial Instrumentation Group) and SAIMC (Society for Automation, Instrumentation, Measurement and Control).
According to Ryan Chetty, Process Automation, there were 4500 visitors from across Southern and Eastern Africa, four Siemens Booths, 30 product displays, 500 Siemens enquiries and six very special awards.
From 5 – 7 May Siemens showcased its products, systems and solutions to a wide audience at the Africa Automation Fair held in Johannesburg, South Africa. Visitors from the Automation and Control environment had a chance to experience firsthand the industrial portfolio, as technical experts exhibited a Siemens product basket. According to Chetty, the show itself has been a huge success for Siemens over the years and the booth was a full of excited customers and prospects as exhibits and customer activations brought people to the center of the automation world. Siemens walked away with a host of industry recognitions at the awards ceremony including best large stand, best customer service, as well as finalist positions for top marketing team and top training provider.
