DigitalGlobe, a leading global provider of high-resolution earth imagery solutions, publicly unveiled its My DigitalGlobe cloud services platform at GEOINT 2012. DigitalGlobe Cloud Services unlocks the power of the world’s largest online library of high-resolution imagery by giving customers access to the most current imagery and geospatial information from desktops, portals, intranets and mobile devices around the world. The new My DigitalGlobe portal creates seamless, on-demand access to more than 200-million km2 of imagery. This includes content from DigitalGlobe services such as Global Basemap, First Look, Enhanced GEOINT Delivery (EGD) and some custom customer content. Customers can access their Global Basemap and FirstLook products and EGD content to quickly search for imagery, plan and manage downloads, and export and save in multiple formats. Its easy-to-use online browser also allows access to multi-temporal imagery and metadata, and it provides an exclusive add-as-you-go library for organising, downloading, and extracting data directly into workflows. The new platform provides users with simplified access, quick analysis and improved decision-making capabilities.
