Mobile mini-subs for temporary power

July 31st, 2012, Published in Articles: Energize

Free State Transformers is very excited and proud to deliver 15 Mobile mini-substations to Eskom. These specialised mobile Transformers are popular with mine operators in reducing their energy costs, whenever they need to relocate their mining operations or if they require temporary power. The units are designed to be connected using live-line techniques, ensuring minimal interruptions in the supply. These products can all be directly coupled to Eskoms’s overhead 11 kV and 22 kV powerlines.
