GISSA Mpumalanga branch gathers at Ngodwana

The GISSA Mpumalanga branch held their annual general meeting for 2014 at the SAPPI Dam Lapa in Ngodwana. The setting was idyllic, and it was wonderful to get through our agenda, while being so close to nature. The members especially liked the “stoep” that afforded us the chance to see the dam while enjoying our coffee, tea and lunch.

The members used the opportunity to  re- elect the council, with the addition of three new members. The proposal from the chairman which will have sub-committees for Nelspruit and Ermelo, was accepted, with the hope of further building the user base in the province.

The GISSA Mpumalanga branch would like to thank the sponsors, Sappi, Optron, Esri South Africa and committee member, Humbelani Brenny, for arranging this memorable meeting.
