Atlas Copco generatorAtlas Plant Hire (APH) recently ordered two QAS 500 kVA Prime 400 V 50 Hz diesel-driven generators from Atlas Copco to provide critical standby power for various mining applications. The QAS on-site generators are intelligent “multi-taskers” that efficiently deliver power to operate a wide range of electrical equipment in a variety of applications. Their rugged design ensures optimum reliability even in the most adverse environmental conditions for maximum uptime. These economical units offer a low total cost of operation and ownership and a high resale value. APH, the sole agent of Atlas Copco, was established to serve the motor industry in the Eastern Cape, but has since expanded into the construction, mining, quarry and other industrial sectors nationally, growing and expanding with fleet and location development playing a major part of its strategic roll out for the future.
