SEW-Eurodrive’s Durban branch has passed an internal audit by its German parent with flying colours. This means that it complies with the latest standards such as ISO 9001, and is on par with other group companies globally in terms of quality and internal procedures.

KwaZulu-Natal branch manager Clive O’Reilly says the province is home to some of the harshest operating environments in the country as it caters to the saw and sugar mills; ports; pulp and paper industries. He says the audit assures clients that all products supplied adhere to international standards. This assurance is supported by a 24/7 service offering, with technicians on standby to attend to any emergencies throughout the province.

The company also recently clinched an award for the best exhibit at the 91st congress of the South African Sugar Technologists’ Association (SASTA) from at the International Convention Centre in eThekwini.
