Lighting courses for 2019

The Illuminating Engineering Society of South Africa (IESSA) has announced its training courses for the remainder of the year. A total of six courses will be presented at the IESSA office in Centurion, Gauteng, while a seventh, “Basic lighting concepts”, will be presented by Elsie Coetzee of the National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA), at the NMISA office in Pretoria. The courses are as follows:

  • 17 – 18 July: Interior Lighting, presented by André Blignaut.
  • 12 – 13 August: Lighting for Roads and Precincts, presented by Daniel Kasper.
  • 14 – 15 August: Exterior Lighting, presented by André Blignaut (presenter to be confirmed).
  • 16 – 17 September: Shop and Retail Lighting, presented by Christo Kapp (presenter to be confirmed).
  • 18 – 19 September: Basic Lighting Concepts, presented by Elsie Coetzee at NMISA, Pretoria.
  • 7 – 8 October: Quality Assurabnce – Public Framework, presented by Natasha van der Walt (presenter to be confirmed).
  • 9 – 10 October: Hazardous Lighting, presented by David Maree (presenter to be confirmed)
