Local temperature certification and testing

09-an-endress-local-temperatureEndress+Hauser Pyrotemp is home to the companyy’s local temperature calibration laboratory. Established to international standards, in July it received the ISO17025 accreditation by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS).(Facility accreditation number is 367). The local production centre was accredited as an ISO9001 facility in April 2011 by the Swiss management quality assessment company SQS Group. All calibration devices are traceable and certified according to international standards monitored by the independent authorities DKD, SIT and SANAS thereby ensuring the highest quality and accuracy of our factory calibrations. Factory calibrations can be issued by any laboratory, whereas calibrations made to SIT, DKD or SANAS accreditation must be performed in an accredited laboratory and are accepted worldwide. Endress+Hauser Pyrotemp has the capability to handle temperatures from -20ºC to +1550ºC  – said to be  one of the most advanced temperature calibration facilities in South Africa.
