Manage data and technology assets across sites

Trimble demonstrated its WorksManager Software, a cloud-based application that enables contractors who manage data and technology assets on civil construction sites, at Bauma 2019 in Germany. The software is the next-generation backbone of the Trimble Connected Site ecosystem for managing construction technology that enables contractors to increase efficiency and improve productivity.  WorksManager allows users to wirelessly transfer data such as 3D designs to the construction site without leaving the office, saving drive time and money. Supervisors and data managers are able to ensure digital assets on the site are using the correct design version, and the designs are being used on the correct machine or data collector. This information is presented on a user-friendly dashboard showing managers an overview of data and assets. Contractors are able to see their construction technology in the field in real-time to help prevent costly mistakes and rework. The software will be optimised for the latest Trimble technology and will integrate with the company’s Earthworks Grade Control Platform, Siteworks Software and Trimble Business Center. It has been available for existing Trimble Connected Community users to beta test since in April 2019.
