 Mine surveyors’ AGM heads to Cullinan

IMSSA-05-03-2014The 92nd annual general meeting of the Institute of Mine Surveyors of South Africa (IMSSA) will be held at Destiny Lodge in Cullinan on 11 September 2014, and will be followed by a networking braai. The AGM will be held in conjunction with a half day conference on the morning of 12 September 2014, followed by lunch and golf for interested delegates. Delegates can earn 1 CPD point for the two-day event.

The AGM will take the format of a morning event, where IMSSA President Nape Mojapelo will deliver the annual presidential report. In addition, the performance of the outgoing council and its committees will be discussed and new council members elected. This will be followed by a light lunch and activities for colloquium delegates.

The agenda of the annual general meeting, the registration form along with the nomination form for Council members for 2014/2015 year, will be sent out to IMSSA members in due course.

Accommodation is available at Destiny Lodge and other guesthouses in the vicinity, and is for delegates own account. Limited space is available, and is offered on a first come first served basis.

The conference will cost R1200 per person for the two-day event with reduced rates for pensioners and students. There will be no charge for the AGM. For partners joining the delegates, bookings can be made for lunch and the AGM dinner (R200). The closing date for conference registrations is 4 September 2014.
