Fresh from successfully re-branding earlier this year, AEL Intelligent Blasting is now moving ahead with a customer-centric business strategy. The company’s primary focus is to collaborate with customers to enable itself to provide intelligent blasting solutions which address their mission-critical challenges. Part of this focus was to ensure the health and sustainability of the South African segment for AEL to continue supplying, serving and evolving in the mining industry. The narrow reef mining market has been hit hard by challenges and constraints. In response, AEL has implemented a strategy to ensure the continued supply of quality local initiators and access to safer, efficient emulsion explosives and delivery systems for the underground conventional mining segment. Besides the SA strategy, AEL has repositioned its overall product and service offerings to stay relevant and on the forefront of its global expansion strategy.
