ProtSurv Geo Centre now stocks the Hi-Target iRTK5, a new high quality GNSS receiver which benefits from the next-generation BD990 GNSS engine and supports the PPP service. It offers full band support for cellular mobile networks (LTE, WCDMA, Edge, GPRS, GSM), and supports most of the radio protocols on its internal UHF transceiver radio. The GNSS receiver has a magnesium alloy structure and runs the Linux 3.2.0 operating system. The HD OLED colour touch screen offers a clear display and can be operated in rain. The receiver’s multiple channels support with Maxwell7 technology can function as a four-star tri-band solution and can fix a position quickly and reliably. It has an accuracy of 4 cm globally. With 16 GB internal storage, which can store GNS and RINEX formats, the iRTK5 supports on-the-go functions. It also features a built-in 4G network antenna with a 360° omni-directional wireless radio antenna and internal UHF radio, as well as offers WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC (near field communication). The internal electronic bubble also enables the receiver to be used for tilt surveys.
