New photoelectric sensor range launched

omron-108-03-2014Omron has redesigned and expanded its M18 cylindrical range photoelectric sensors. The new generation is said to represent one of the largest varieties of dependable photoelectric sensors on the market. The recently launched E3FA/E3F1 series is the first of the company’s products based on a new platform for photoelectric sensors. It features high-performance sensing technology and ease of use. It is suited for plant in industries including the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, textiles, ceramics and brick production through to logistics. The series includes through-beam, retro-reflective and diffuse-reflective types in straight and radial versions. Straight versions are also available with background-suppression, limited-reflective detection, and transparent object detection types for special applications. The E3FA series offers sensing in a robust and waterproof housing which can withstand even high-pressure cleaning. The series also has high EMC protection and light immunity.
