Engen has moved its training academy from Edgemead to Hillside. The training centre is geared to provide new service station franchisees with practical on-the-forecourt training over a two-and-a-half week period as well as practical standards training. In addition, the facilities provide existing ervice station managers, franchisees and head office staff with a variety of courses on different aspects of the business.

The people of Durbanville also have a new-look service station which offers a diverse range of 24-hour convenience services including a Quickshop, Corner Bakery and ATMs from ABSA and Standard Bank. The training academy has a number of training rooms and expansive break-away areas which can be tailored to size, and accommodates up to 22 delegates per course.
