The 3rd Nedbank / EE Publishers seminar explored how to facilitate and establish a viable gas energy sector in South Africa from existing and emerging local and international resources in a way that can benefit the local economy and create jobs in South Africa in a sustainable way.

Mr Thabang Chiloane, divisional executive for Nedbank Group Strategic Relations and Public Affairs, chaired the seminar. Presenters included: Adv Sandra Coetzee, acting head of the IPP Office of the Department of Minera Resources and Energy; Andy (Andries) Calitz, former executive at Eskom and Shell International; John Smelcer of Globeleq; and Jaco Human, executive director of the Industrial Gas Users Association of South Africa.
