The 2nd seminar Nedbank / EE Publishers seminar explored the role of small- and medium-scale distributed embedded generation in meeting the electrical energy needs of the future – the necessary business case, policy, regulatory and financing environment for behind-the-meter solutions such as rooftop solar PV and other distributed generation.

Mr Thabang Chiloane, divisional executive for Nedbank Group Strategic Relations and Public Affairs division, is chaired the seminar. Presenters included: Nomfundo Maseti, Nersa; Dr Clinton Carter-Brown, CSIR Energy Centre; Mr Richard Nelson, Power Africa; and Niveshen Govender, SAPVIA.
