vega-instruments-085-03-2014Vega has launched their new range of pressure transmitters in South Africa in Rustenburg, Sasolburg and Johannesburg. The company has re-engineered its VegaBar pressure transmitter series down to three innovative models. This is said to make it much easier for the user to choose the most appropriate instrument for their applications. These three transmitter variants can solve practically any process pressure application. The VegaBar 82 is an all-rounder with a ceramic measuring cell, covering 60% to 70% of all applications. It can cover the majority of applications in the process industry and features the proprietary, oil-free, high abrasion and overload resistant, ceramic-capacitive Certec measuring cell. Its sensitivity to condensation has been virtually eliminated. All sensors in the series can be combined into an electronic differential pressure system. The VegaBar 81 is suited to high temperature and chemical resistance and features a chemical seal assembly. It features a metallic measuring cell and is recommended for very high pressures.
