Receiver app update adds battery monitoring

Eos Positioning Systems has released an updated version of Eos Tools Pro for Android (v 1.49.35) and iOS (v 1.75 / build 204).  Both versions will support additional GEOID models (real-time orthometric height conversions) and both will include a new real-time, in-app battery status monitor feature for the Arrow GNSS receiver. The iOS version also includes a UI fix that eliminates an Altitude tab issue. Using this new, free feature will require the use of Arrow battery with Rev. 5 and/or above. The revision of the battery can be found on the battery sticker label on the back of your receiver. The battery status monitor allows users to check how much Arrow charge is left on their receiver directly within Eos Tools Pro, without having to check the GNSS receiver itself. The update includes additional GEOID model support for Australia, Brazil, and Sweden; an in-app Arrow GNSS Receiver Battery Status Monitor as well as altitude tab fixes for iOS users. Eos manufactures high-accuracy GPS/GNSS receivers for the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) market. The Arrow Series receivers feed sub-metre and centimetre RTK GPS/GNSS location data into any iOS, Android, and Windows device.
