February 29th, 2012, Published in Articles: EngineerIT

Available to view on-line, the iOS demo app video takes viewers through the basics of using Nordic’s recently launched Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ sample application for the iPhone 4S. It is based on an application programming interface (API) from Wahoo Fitness – said to be experts in smartphone fitness technology – that recently launched the world’s first commercially-available Bluetooth Smart heart-rate belt. It is designed to provide developers with a starting point and ready-built design framework to accelerate development of ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart (as Bluetooth low energy will now be marketed to consumers) wireless connectivity apps and accessories for the
iPhone 4S.
