Instructions to delegates from outside South Africa

Visitors from many countries outside of South Africa will require a visa to visit the country, both as a tourist or on a business trip. Please contact the South African Embassy in your country of origin to find out exactly what is required to apply for a visa. Visa applications can take several weeks to process, and it is strongly advisable that you apply for a visa sooner rather than later.

If you require a letter of invitation from a South African host company / organisation for your visa application, please click here.

The venue for the SASGI 2013 conference and exhibition is Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, which is just outside of South Africa’s biggest city, Johannesburg, and very close to OR Tambo International Airport, South Africa’s largest airport.

Delegates need to make their own accommodation arrangements, and to pay for these directly. The easiest way to do this is to click on one of the Emperors Palace accommodation options below, and make your reservations online.

We strongly urge visitors from outside of South Africa to book accommodation at one of the Emperors Palace hotels (see links below), where you will receive excellent value for money, with a variety of pricing options to suit your budget.

Arrangements have been made for organisers, delegates and exhibitors at the SASGI 2013 conference and exhibition to receive preferential accommodation rates for the nights of 22, 23, 24 and/or 25 July 2013.
