Major Tech’s point and shoot thermal imaging cameras are rugged, full featured instruments available with an image quality from 80 x 80 pixels (MTi13), 160 x 120 pixels (MTi15/MTi50) to up to 384 x 288 pixels (MTi60). These instruments feature an IR-optical focus system to ensure that images are in focus. The MTi60 features a 32 x continuous digital zoom. Both wide angle and tele-lenses are available. LED lights are installed on the front of the camera for quality images, even in darker environments. These thermal imagers also feature a laser pointer to help the user to associate the hot or cold spot on the thermal image with the real physical target in the field. Thermal images come with a picture-in-picture function for overlying the thermal image on the visual image. These cameras include text and voice annotations and images are transferred easily from the camera to a removable SD card.
