Canon recently added two new compact cameras to its Powershot range – the rugged and waterproof Powershot D30, and the Powershot S200. Designed for adventure, the D30 is ideal for daring adrenaline seekers, and canon-215-03-2014capable of shooting underwater action at unrivalled depths as low as 25 m, with superior image quality, to give natural colours even in low-light conditions. The S200 delivers image quality and easy access to manual settings in a modern, pocketable design, with a host of creative features for those seeking their next step in photography. At the heart of both cameras lies Canon’s HS System, a strong core, which combines a high-sensitivity sensor and Digic image processor for high-quality performance, providing high quality images in low-light situations. The D30 utilises a 12,1 megapixel CMOS sensor and a 28 mm wide-angle, 5x zoom Canon lens, helping you capture the beauty of the sea in amazing detail. Both cameras use an optical image stabiliser to deliver crisp and clear shots, and include Intelligent IS technology to automatically apply the most suitable form of stabilisation for a range of scenes and settings.
