Ventyx, an ABB company, has been named the Silver winner in the “Company of the Year – Energy” category for the 2013 International Business Awards (IBAs). Finalists for this year’s awards were selected from more than 3300 in over 50 countries and territories worldwide. The company was the sole technology vendor chosen in this category, and was recognised for its innovation and continuous commitment to addressing the long-term and future technology needs of its global energy customers. Jeff Ray, the company’s CEO, says that the company’s software solutions has been instrumental in helping its customers to overcome some serious challenges, including natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy, as well as the daily task of meeting the rising demand for power while protecting the environment. The company’s largest customers are based in various European countries, USA and South America.
